Warranty Policy

Limited Time Warranty – Malaysia Warranty Coverage Numom™ MALAYSIA’s warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below: Numom™ Malaysia as defined below, warrants this Numom™ branded hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Numom™ Malaysia will either (1) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product or (2) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts Numom™ Malaysia may request that you replace defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts that Numom™ Malaysia provides in fulfilment of its warranty obligation. A replacement product or part, including a user installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by Numom™ Malaysia, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Numom™ Malaysia’s property. Parts provided by Numom™ Malaysia in fulfilment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed. EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS This Limited Warranty applies only to hardware products manufactured by or for Numom™ MALAYSIA that can be identified by the “Numom™” trade mark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Numom™ Malaysia hardware products or any accessories, even if packaged or sold with Numom™ Malaysia hardware. Manufacturers, suppliers or publishers, other than Numom™ Malaysia, may provide their own warranties to the end user purchaser, but Numom™ Malaysia, in so far as permitted by law, provides their products “as is”.

Accessories distributed by Numom™ Malaysia with or without the Numom™ brand name (including) is not covered under this Limited Warranty. Numom™ Malaysia does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Numom™ Malaysia is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product’s use. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by use with non-Numom™ Malaysia products; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Numom™ Malaysia; (d) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Numom™ Malaysia or an Numom™ Malaysia Authorised Service Provider; (e) to a product or part that has been modified to significantly alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Numom™ Malaysia; (f) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; or (h) motor pump damage caused by backflow issue (breastmilk enter into the breastpump) . No Numom™ Malaysia reseller, agent, or employee is authorised to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty. Except as provided in this warranty and to the extent permitted by law, Numom™ malaysia is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to loss of use; loss of revenue; loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts); loss of the use of money; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business; loss of opportunity; loss of goodwill; loss of reputation; loss of, damage to or corruption of data; or any indirect or consequential loss and damage howsoever caused including the replacement of equipment. the foregoing limitation shall not apply to death or personal injury claims.

This Limited Warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia in which the product purchase took place. Numom™ Malaysia or its Numom™ Malaysia Authorised Service Dealers will provide warranty service on products that are tendered or presented for service during the Warranty Period, as permitted by law. The product is warranty service may be restricted to Malaysia where the product is purchased. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary according to Malaysia. You may be responsible for shipping and handling charges if the product cannot be serviced in the Malaysia it is in.

INAUTHENTIC NUMOM PRODUCTS WARNING

NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS ABOUT INAUTHENTIC NUMOM PRODUCTS

Numom (M) Sdn. Bhd. is aware of several sellers offering inauthentic Numom Products in the East Asia region. It has been confirmed that inauthentic versions of Numom Products have been distributed, mainly on shopping platforms such as Shopee, and Websites.

Although they are using other brand logos, these fake versions are created in an improper way which tries to copy the design of Numom Products with the retail price much lower than the original Numom Products. Some of these inauthentic products are almost identical in terms of design and packaging. The appearance [the product itself, the box, designs for products, internal components] is very similar. Furthermore, the breast pump and spare parts offered are also very similar to the genuine items, making it difficult for customers to choose the best one.

Please note that we do not consider any complaints, replacement of spare parts, or service warranty to the customer who buys the inauthentic product even though they are offering the same design and we are not responsible for accidents, defects, and damages incurred by inauthentic products.

If you purchase and use the inauthentic product, we are concerned that these products will not meet customer expectations, but they may also have a negative impact on your health.
Therefore, we ask you to purchase Numom Products from authorized resellers, centers, and shopping platforms.

Walaupun menggunakan logo jenama lain, versi tiruan ini dicipta dengan cara yang tidak betul dengan meniru reka bentuk produk Numom dengan menawarkan kos yang jauh lebih rendah dari produk asal Numom.
